The puppy owner will even pose the puppy as you ask them to.. they do have a puppy, but sell it over and over, and never deliver...Please stay away from any overseas puppy scam..
You see, none of our laws apply to them, so they can get away with it over and over..Many of them pose as missionaries, or ministers..All a ruse to get your trust..

Its a rip-off, there is not any way they could have introduced doggies into Cameroon no longer to indicate deliver them to you if the animals are under six months previous. How is it incredibly everyone remains no conscious of Cameroon doggy scams regardless of being mentioned everywhere in the information and the internet for extra beneficial than 10 years?

I suppose you might get lucky and find a reputable breeder, but what breed is it that you need to get it from Africa or a breeder there? With all the internet scams out there, I would be really leary of doing this. Seriously, if there is someone there with some exceptional blood lines, I guarantee that some breeder in the US, or elsewhere, has bought a couple to add to their blood lines.
This is how I found a really good husky breeder. I could not afford the prices of the breeder listed in Dog Fancy at the time, so she referred me to someone who had purchased and was breeding pups of her bloodlines and the cost was a little bit less that way.
If there's some remarkable breeder there, ask if they have sold any of their lines to a US breeder. Would be alot easier that way I would think.

DON'T! first of all, if you are intent on buying a puppy over the internet, you can go to petfinder.com or to nextdaypets.com. where at the very least you can contact the breeder before you actually buy. Second of all, if you buy a puppy from there, and the puppy is ill, has parasites or is god forbid dead on arrival, what are you going to do? send it back? they're not subject to our laws! My suggestion is go to a breeder in your area. look them up in yellowbook.com or search the internet. both nextdaypets.com and petfinder.com have geographic locators, so that you can find the best puppy for you. most of the time, these sellers are frauds. They'll take your money and not even give you a dog.

I raise Australian Shepherds and sell several over the internet. Be very, very careful of anyone not in the U.S. Everytime I run an ad, I get someone from overseas trying to scam me, as the seller. There are sites you can buy thru "puppy escrow" accounts if you have doubts. If you ask enough questions, you will probably get a feeling, but be careful!!

Does it ~sound~ legitimate ?
Sounds to me like a lot of hooey ! Why would anyone want to give money to buy a dog that *presumably*is halway around the globe ! Imagine the quarantine time these poor animals would need before entering the US ! (if they actually do exits - which I doubt)
check this out - lots of people getting burned:

There are tons of puppies at your local shelter or on petfinder.com.

I wouldn't believe so. I know that they were stealing dog's pictures from Dogster and posting them as dogs for sale, collecting the money and disappearing. Those of us who had dog pictures stolen were really upset, but I'm sure not as upset as people losing thousands of dollars.
Are you looking for anything in particular breedwise? There are a lot of knowledgable people on here who could help you find what you're looking for.

I do not think it's legitimate. The dog would need to be quarantained for 2 weeks for sure. Besides I wouldn't buy anything unseen. You need to look at the dog and let it speak to you. If you go to a breader and see all the dogs, you'll know what I am talking about.

They are probably trying to scam you. Once you ask for more information on the dog, they will tell you that they need you to pay for shipping by money order or something else untraceable, and then you will NEVER see a dog!!! They just want the shipping money, and they make it seem lke a good deal. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. I wouldn't do it.
