I know how to fire my wepon. I have been doing it for 8 years now. I am a sharp shooter for both the M9 and the M-16. I just wanted to know if anyone has ever seen a left handed charging handle. I know there is a compatition style charging handle with a bigger button then the stock one.

Wish I did know however I just learned how to charge it effectively with my left hand or right hand interchangeably.

You would have to have a rifle custom-made for you to get a left-handed charging handle.

Did some of the guys in the squad put you onto this? Sounds like they might be pulling your leg -- sending you on a wild goose chase for the "left-handed smokeshifter", of "100 feet of shore line", or something like that. The charging handle should be ambidextrous, unless they've changed it dramatically since I was on active duty.

Where did you hear of such a thing? I have been in the Army six years and I am left handed and I fire my rifle just fine without a "left handed charging handle".

How about you use what the government gave you.

When you reload the bolt is locked to the rear so all you have to do is smack in a new magazine and hit the bolt release and you can rock and roll.

This is the dumbest Idea I have seen today.

You have to use the appropriate ID request form, I think it';s the 10 T form. Ask for the form from your admin clerk.
