When are you too old to lift weights? Is it healthy to keep lifting into your late 50's and 60's. Some people, like Clarence Bass, still lift in their golden years and yield incredible results. Is it personal genectics, or just a lifelong commitment to healthly living?

Many of us work extremely hard to gain these hard bodies during our younger years, only to completely lose it later on in life. What a waste, if you ask me. Is it worth it???, and should one continue to lift weights? Or is their a healthier way?

Let me tell you something.I've been lifting for 22 years.I'm only 37 now.I've been competing for USAPL since 1996.I've seen some incredible thing.I saw a man set a world record for his age (78) with a 300 lb dead lift.I've seen dozens of men in the Masters class bench over 400 lbs even at relatively low body weight.
Provided you're in good physical health and you have your doctors approval, lift til you drop dead.
I'm sure that it brings you great pleasure and keeps you fit.Don't stop unless your doctor says so.Progressive resistance is one of the healthiest forms of exercise.
