How do weevils get into dry food that is stored in an airtight container?

Probably came in the flour or whatever it is, and you didn't see them. Just dump it all, wash the container, and buy more of whatever it is. It's a crapshoot.

Weevils get into supermarkets, too, and you just bring

them home with you. So check to see that all packages

are sealed.
