I'm willing to change my mind the moment the slightest proof contrary to what I believe is presented.

I'm a die-hard (maybe even zealous) Nihilist.
I consume and destroy other peoples' opinions (especially religious ones) like a black hole.

It would take an immensely intelligent person working on completely infallible and undeniable logic to change my mind, and I've yet to find such a thing yet. Until such a time I will only accept that on matters relating to the nature of the Universe, most people have overactive imaginations and barely a brain-cell between them.
That goes a hundredfold for christians and muslims. They should all be chained up and executed post haste, or else humanity is never going to get anywhere.

No I am not looking to change my views. I have done that already after visiting several denominations within the Christian family. I changed them so much in fact, that I decided to stick with reading and comprehending for myself instead of letting myself be spoonfed what someone wanted me to think. In order to change my mind, I would have to find a church that follows the scriptures to the letter and does not add to it or take away from it or have strange rituals found nowhere in the bible.

I don't think that I am cherishing my view of reality. Reality sometimes sucks big time. It's hard to imagine how else it could be though. Except being richer or some other mundane twaddle like that.

I can't speak for everyone, but asking questions is a good sign. If you're truly curious, there's a reason. Maybe people are just looking for confirmation. If you don't ask, you may never know. I'm not out to change anyones mind...I just give my opinion, and through that, if I help someone, it's all the better.

I think some do, but most come to prove themselves or their own ideas right. I have already seen the light I need to see, but am prepared to admit that I could be wrong about some things. It is the personally evidenced and lived miracles that make me who I am today and allowed me to leave the shell of intellectual doubt and fear behind.

I am prepared to look at life in a slightly altered view point, and yet I could never actually believe in a god because some semi-retarded person here threatened me with the prospect of eternal torture by a loving god.

I like your question. That's a good one. I know alot of us are on here trying to share our views and hoping that people would be swayed by them. Hopefully, even if it's one, some people will walk away different from a positive comment.

Truth should be open to scrutiny. How else could it be known to be truth unless it be scrutinized and be able to withstand scrutiny.

Perhaps if our perceived truth is not open to scrutiny, or not able to withstand scrutiny, it could use a chanGe.

It is preposteous order to teach first and learn after.

Awareness tends to increase understanding, which in turn decreases misunderstanding. So let us offer perceived truths as perceived truths open to scrutiny, and for the sake of increased understanding is decreased misunderstanding.

Biblical change, from glory to glory, is based on comparison. When law compared to grace is so exceedingly much more, law fades to nothing at all by comparison, kinda like when the sun shines in it's full glory the moon fades to nothing by comparison.

We are biblically told not to believe every spirit, but rather try (test drive) both of two spirits, to compare spiritual(law) with spiritual(grace), one of such is notably antichrist: anti-the end of the law.

Grace, and truth thereof Grace cannot lie, isn't anti(against)anyone, but pro(with) everyone, and simply what came from God by JC for comparison of what was given by Moses: law and lie.

The law (and lie) was given by Moses,
but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

He taken away the first,
that he might establish the second.

Law: press DELETE to take away what's insufficient
Grace: press SAVE to establish what is sufficient

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.

I've never come anywhere "prepared" to change my mind. It either happens or it doesn't. No one goes around saying, "Ya' know, I think I'll change my core beliefs today - just for the heck of it."
What a silly question!
