Chicoguapa stated women still expect men to ask us out. However, I am afraid to approach a man due to rejection. How would I know if a man is interested in me approaching him? What is the best way to ask a male out?
I have to hand it to you men, you all are brave with thick skin and I admire that.

Hi, First of all its not bravery. Ofcourse we dont want to be rejected any more than you do. But traditionally speaking its the mans job to make the first move.
Two... How would you know if hes interested in you? Lets say hes the shy type... you may catch him watching you. Or you can ask 1 of your friends to ask him what he thinks of you, (coward). Or just go ask him yourself. (Big Turn on).
Three... The best way to ask anyone out is first... talk to the guy, get to know him and if you still want to go out on a date just ask. If the conversation went well and there was a click there he'll probably say yes.
Four... Some warning signs to back off... He's wearing a wedding ring. He yawns. He keeps looking at his watch. He keeps looking over your shoulder to check out the blonde at the bar.

Confidence is attractive to both men and women so, if you feel confident in yourself and the guy you are attempting to ask out is giving you some sort of 'vibe' that he is interested then, that is all you need to approach him. The 'how do' is the tricky part. All men (well all straight men) like attention from females so, the guy you pick will respond positively if you start up a casual conversation. I can understand that you might fear rejection but make no mistake - males fear rejection too.
Now for the "secret" - MEN DO LIKE CONFIDENT FEMALES -
No matter how fast your heart may be beating or how petrified you are TALK TO HIM as he was one of your female friends and then POP the Question casually.
Don't forget to add a bit of flirting while talking to him, if he returns the "flirting" he is in the bag - so to speak.

just do it. rejection only makes you stronger. doesnt mean there is anything wrong with you , just means there is something wrong with the 2 of you being together. go ahead be brave. there are worse things in the world. if you are rejected, just move on to the next male you find attractive. good luck

FINALLY! A woman who respects our manly bravery. We must endure the fear of rejection. And in this day and age girls are starting to feel this rejection. Honestly? I am very old school. I think I would be turned off if a girl asked me out. Just be super flirtatious and make it obvious you want him to ask you out. If he doesn't, then that's basically a "NO!"

just try sutble hints, see if he responds, alot of guys are too shy or scared of being rejected themselves to ask a woman out.
