To me one of the most wonderful privileges of being an American citizen lies in our acknowledged right to point out inequities, injustices and opportunities for improvement, not out of hate but out of love and a desire to make this country, and (by extension) the world a better place. For instance, when I'm told that 5% of the U.S. population controls 95% of the nations wealth I become concerned. I have absolutely no desire for great wealth myself. I'd be ashamed to be a millionaire. I'd just like to see the people on the bottom of the ladder get some help, not to "sponge" but to have a fair shot at a productive place in our society. With better schools we might teach the poor how to spell "whiners" and "they're" and construct coherent sentences or at least use a spell checker.

Because they are the want to be, hug a tree, appeasement mind set, and the politically correct mind set, their brains have gone south and everyone in America is wrong but them, the secular progressives or Sp's, that will destroy everything that is American and America to if they have to, they want to change America into countries like the Netherlands, Sweden, countries that have no armies or defense, and where anything goes, where every deviant life style you can think of will be allowed, and they want a socialistic country like the Netherlands, they hate democracy and what it stands for, and it's getting worse because of the colleges with their liberal professors that are teaching our kids that everything America dose is wrong, they are like the kids at Columbia University that shouted down the minute men instead of listening to what they had to say, no one can have free speech unless they agree with them, that is what we are fighting in our society now. And it usually is the ones with great wealth that hate our culture and our society, maybe it is because they feel guility because they have great wealth, now that they have their money, they want to change our society from capitalisum to socialisum, but they made their money from Capitalisum, it's people like George Soros that made their millions, and now believes America needs to change to fit their ideal of what America should be. People like him are demonating the liberals in the Democratic party and have taken over the Democratic party, that is why they would not support George Lieberman, because he is to moderate for them, because he supported the President so now he is running as an Independant, Soros gives millions to the democratic party now, he is Hungarian I think he was not born here, but is now a citizen. A lot of the Democrats are following his lead, like Kennedy, Palocie, Reid, Boxer, Feinstein that agree with the things George Soros believes in. Every body is better except America. Their minds are warped and their getting nutter in office. and the Republicians aren't far behind.

You forgot about the ones that left their own country because they did not have freedom of expression and poor economy with a socialism mentality. The left because the USA was better. And now they are spending their time trying to change the ideas and concepts of the USA to the same failed concepts that led their country to ruin. Go figure.

I'm with the press and I've interviewed some immigrants and they said because in Mexico it's hard for them to get food but in America it's easier. I still don't think It's right for them to come illegally.

I don't "whine", I love my country.....I just get disheartened by the racism that people have deeply seeded into their souls....
