My sister has depression, anxiety and ADHD. She blames me for everything that has ever gone wrong in her life. I don't even live at home now, I'm 5 hours away in college. Recently I got a call from her and she said that she broke into my old desk and read my old diaries. Then she got mad at me, and said that I always get everything. FRUSTRATED!!!! and looking for any ideas.

A reality check might be helpful. Since she has read your diaries, ask her to be specific. What precisely did you get that she did not? If she's jealous that you got to go to college, ask her what she would do in a situation where she had a 5-page paper due tomorrow, a midterm on Thursday, a 15-page paper due by the end of the quarter, and three friends who want her to go to a dance, a study group and a political forum on biodiversity (these friends aren't all going the same place)?

If that freaks her out, ask her what portion of that she thinks she can handle. If she can swing it financially, it might be a good idea for her to take a class or two at a local community college.

the first thing you have to remember is that your sister is ill, that means that she does not see things the way people who are okay do,
your sister needs understanding and help from a proffesional body to ry and help her with this dreadfull illness,
you must look beyond the hurt and stay strong for your sis as the last thing she needs is to feel more isolated.
it will not be easy and in deed sometimes its almost impossible but you must hang in there for the benefit of all.
good luck

Sounds like she needs some serious counseling and drugs! She is obviously jelous and angry that you are leading a normal fun life. Understand this and try to be compassionate. I know this hard, but imagine how hard it must be for her to feel this way all the time.

My question to you is where has you love and compassion gone off to. Your sister is ill, And I bet that she is lonely as all get out. Also the truth is she blames you out of jealously, And she is full of regrets. Don't blame her for her illness please help her deal with it. Show her that hope still exist. To condemn her leaves her with no where to go and no one to have hope in or for. She is asking for help so please be kind and become part of the solution and not part of the problem............

Talk to your parents. Tell them what she has and is doing. She needs help and they need to get it for her.
