I have found King James Version to be the best.

There are many, but you might want to ask your minister what version to use. Some may seem easier to read, but realy are aweful translations. Some people don't like the NIV because it omits a lot verses. Some have extra books (I.e. Catholic and Eastern Orthodox versions) that other religions don't believe in. My personal favourite is the King James Version also known as the Authorized Version. I would advise against using the Living Bible, the Contemporary English Version, or the Good News Bible as they are really poor translations.

Depends on the purpose. For example if you were trying to swat a fly, one of those Gideon hotel versions would suffice. But if you must rid youself some unwanted kittens... a big church model would work better. Something that you can really SLAM shut! ( No kittens were harmed during the answering of this question.)

`there really is none.although the King James Version Is written as Is only in English. Just a thought.

The Catholic Bible, because it contains Books in the Old Testement inwhich Protestant Bibles, including the KJV, rejected.

The KJV or the Interlinear by Green. I have found that the NIV although OK leaves a lot out when it comes to faith, who to believe in and so on. Other translations are not much better.
