Okay, so I am 7 months pregnant..I was told my doctor that taking 800 mcg of folic acid a day can "cure" morning sickness....and let me tell you... I followed his tip religiously and have not had one ounce of morning sickness or any other type of symptoms. Who knows maybe I am just one of the lucky ones, but its worth a shot for all you other mommys to be out there for many reasons...folic acid is one of the most important vitamins you need in your pregnancy... so try it anyways! Good luck!

I didn't know about the morning sickness, but I have heard that low folic acid levels can cause birth defects, so women of childbearing age should always take folic acid everyday.

um....I don't think folic acid can do it. I took folic acid everyday when I was pregnant, not much morning sickness for me, but definitely serious motion sickness.........I think one of the best way to reduce morning sickness is take snack regulary. Not sure about the biological base of the folic acid theory.

All pregnant or trying-to-be pregnant women should be taking folic acid anyway to prevent birth defects.
