I think that if you are in a real relationship and there is mutual love and understanding, then men would not tend to freak out. Traditionally it is men that propose to the women, if men were truly against the idea of marriage then that simply wouldn't happen.
I certainly didn't freak when I found the right person. And am now very happily married :)

TEND WTH is tin?? Most men arent ready for commitment when a woman is. Men like to take their time pondering such things as marriage. I mean really marriage is like the finale and end of a chapter in their lives.

Because it freaks out so many men. If a woman talks to me like that ans I know she's trying to end the relationship, I propose on the spot. Her reaction is what a real freak out looks like!

Actually, when my BF brings it up, *I* run screaming from the room...It's not just a guy thing.
So, let's say I may be qualified to answer this.
It's not that I hate him or even hate the idea, it's just such a BIG commitment, and a rather abstract concept, so much would change.. and I also think a lot of people are afraid of the wedding itself, not BEING married, but GETTING married.

Usually the context of the situation is that the guy begins talking about the subject too early. I would freak if a girl did this to me as well.

Because men are not nearly as eager to commit to another person as a woman is. Women are trying to get the men to make some babies and stick around to raise them

every little girs dream is to have a big beautiful wedding and every man just dont really care as much .... so women get like that because maybe she beleaves she will have the big beautifull wedding there is nothing wrong with it let her have her moment
