When I am not promoting my CD, I work a normal job in a photo lab where I take passport pictures for people. The majority of customers I serve can barely speak English. I am sure they are using passport pictures to obtain fake documentation in order to get work in the US. I feel conflicted about this, as though I am assisting their crime. At the same time, I need an income. Last I checked, you have to be a US citizen or legal resident to get a passport. I've had to look at their Mexican ID's to spell their name to complete the orders, so I know this is just wrong.

First alfonso he was not saying he was unhappy he said he doesnt like assisting criminals if that is what they are! If you dont like his question then dont answer especially with smart comments that make you sound dumb! Now to answer your question I dont think it should be legal for the picture so you dont have much say so in that department but you may want to keep an eye out for a law that may cause you to take action. Action meaning obtaining ID for pictures and things you may want to make it your personal policy and usually they wont come to your store anymore if they feel threatened at all. Good luck

Nope. the correct address must me on the valid state issued ID. Residency is a BATF issue, and if you are a resident of ohio now, you need a ohio license anyway according to the state law. It is illegal to sell a gun to an out of state resident, regardless of the state, now if you are in ohio but not a resident, you can buy a rifle and have the gun store ship it to an FFL dealer in illonois for pick up as long as you have a FOID card. Bottom line, just get a Ohio DL, if you get pulled over its going to be a hassle or a ticket. The only exception is private transfers, so find a guy or gal that wants to sell a rifle, and make sure there no fresh blood on it.....

Couldn't the passport-sized photo be used for any ID? Really, what you're suggesting is that only certain people be allowed to buy a 2-by-2 (or something close) photo of themselves.

That would just be a waste of tax money and legislation. It would totally be unenforceable in the age of high quality digital photography.

A legal resident cannot get a US passport. They can only get a passport of their respective countries.

If you are so sure that what you are doing is aiding illegal activiity, why don't you just call BICE?

I say get a new job. Then you won't have to worry anymore. If you don't know if the person is legal or illegal then you are not supporting it. Maybe you should call INS and have them come and stand by your side, so they can check and make sure everyone is legal.

Perhaps you could get a bounty for every illegal you caught and turned in for deportation. If I had the money I'd pay you to do that.

I think some form of ID should be required for everything...at least until we can get these criminals out of our country...
