Someone I work with has a system- Each payday, and both of them make good $$, they pay themselves, put money into a car fund, and when they are ready to buy a car they pay cash, therefore avoiding paying interest. Then it doesn't matter what you make. And the finance companies will have a formula on how much money you make, your credit score, and your debt ratio, before they would approve financing on a car like that.

Well, it could be less than you think if you buy from the right place and save yourself some cash. Generally, the more expensive a car you are considering, the higher the potential for savings by finding it cheaper. For example, a 10% discount on a $9,000 is $1,000, but the same 10% off of a $90,000 car is $9,000, which would make your $90K car an $81K car. Car dealer auctions can give you at least this kind of savings from the retail price. Secure the cash, then visit

If you have to ask.... you can't afford it.

Btw, there are lenders that will let you borrow up to $100k with $0 down.... depending on credit and income.

If you can pay cash get the car. If you can't then don't. Credit is for suckers, much like the lottery!!!!
