New Zealand is the best place ever! I was born in Australia and moved to the U.S.A when i was 24. The U.S.A was fun, but the people where stuck-up and dumb, well some of them. I then moved to England which was also great but i got sick of it after a while.

After that when i was 32 i decided to move back to my homeland Australia, but when I got there, I arrvied to find an ugly, brown country, with people who are rude and arrogant.

Then I moved here to New Zealand and I havn't regretted a thing!

There is so much to do!

I suggest, fly into Auckland, and do some sight-seeing around there. Go to the Auckland sky tower, and do a bungy jump off the harbour bridge.

Then move on to Rotorua where you must go on the zorb and the luge.

From there go to Taupo to do some fishing and jet boating!

Then go to beatiful Hawks bay where you can test the many wineries there and meet some of the friendliest people ever!

Then drive on down to wellington, the capital and go shopping; go to tepapa, and visit New Zealand Parliament house.

Then take a ferry down to the south Island. There are so many things to do down there! I would suggest visting Queenstown, and then go to the town of Bluff to catch a plane to Stewert Island (My home Island) and do some kiwi bird sight seeing.

You are more than welcome to drop in at my house for a cuppa tea!

I hope this was of help to you, and have a great, great time down here in Kiwiland

Happy traveling

Ciao! Nuovo Zealand e bella! If you want to do something very exciting, then go to the top of the Skytower in Auckland and do the sky jump.

It is not a bunjy jump, but a controlled freefall with a cable. It is 192 metres tall. For a look at the tower jump visit the link below.

In bocca al lupo!!

You HAVE TO go to the Waitomo Caves, and you might want to do white water rafting in Queenstown. Bunjy Jumping over the shot over river just outside of queenstown was pretty amazing. Helicopter over the franz and fox glaciers a few hours out of the Pan cakes rock formation (forgot what that place was called) the southern alpines are incredible. NZ is a really gorgeous place to visit, have fun.

Drive through the South Otago Penninsula (Dunedin to Queenstown), Waitomo Caves, Kaikoura (shark diving, fly a plane with the local flight club), Rotorua (get out to the pools).

There is sooo much to do and see in NZ it really depends on what you are into. I recommend getting a good guidebook and reading it on the plane. Also, stop at the tourist centre in each town and ask advice (and for free maps), they are always full of great people. Have fun!

I spent 4 months in new zealand after high school and it was the best time/money I spent. It's so well setup for both expensive and inexpensive travelling. The best way to learn about it is hostels, talking to people and seeing what others are doing. Then you can learn how you want to craft your trip. Be careful about theft. As safe as it is for violent crime, nz (and aus) have extremely high petty theft rates. I lost probably 1000$ in backpacking gear in a christchurch hostel.

Wellington is a very enjoyable city to party in and walk around, I enjoyed my time there so much. I hope to live in wellington someday...

properly, technically "old Zealand" is in Holland. at the same time as the Dutch landed in New Zealand, Tasman categorized the islands on his map as Staten Landt after the States-well-known of the Netherlands. It replaced into later replaced by technique of Dutch cartographers to Nova Zeelandia (in Latin), from Nieuw Zeeland, after the Dutch province of Zeeland. After a touch more advantageous than one hundred years, Europeans got here to visit and Captain James practice dinner "britishized" it by technique of calling it New Zealand.

NZ is one of the greatest places I have ever been to, there are millions of things you should not miss, my highlights are whale and penguin watching, queenstown, Christchurch, rafting, canoeing, bungee, Auckland, and all the rest, I was so excited about it 4 years ago that I will go back there next year

Some North Island suggestions:
- If you fly into Auckland and stay there, have dinner at Kermadec Restaurant. Really good food and good prices
- Rotorua is amazing, visit Wai-o-Tapu geothermal area
