No. And you shouldn't, either. Corticosteroids are bad for you, but sometimes you have to use them on psoriasis--I know that. But systemic steroid use is WAY more dangerous than topical steroid use. This is a terrible idea and you should investigate treatments with your doctor before you put steroids in your body and let them wreak havoc with your organs and tissues.

You really need to be under a doctor's care for psoriasis, and I'm sorry you're feeling desperate, but this is NOT the time to try desperate measures! Psoriasis is painful and ugly and horrible, and I know because I have it. But don't self-diagnose, and don't self-treat. Check out clinics in your area if you have no insurance--that's what I did. Don't do something stupid just because you're desperate--you'll regret it and you'll still have psoriasis.

Do what your doctor says, and if anybody gives you any sh!t about the way you look or whatever, they can go to hell and you tell them I said it! They can go f*ck themselves! You keep your psoriasis under control and as far as cosmetic issues, people can just deal with the way you look because you have a disease and it's not your fault!

DONT go there! I don't suffer from psoriasis myself but i work for a great New Zealand company see it @ http://www.beewild.com and we make and sell a wonderful product called Apis Mellifera skincare cream, it is a totally non steriod approach to eczema/psoriasis relief and the 2 special ingredients are derived directly from the bee hive. Believe me i deal with all the happy customers so i know that it really does work and best of all your not having to expose your body to all the nasties that come with some other creams. You know that because you also may have to deal with this skin disorder for the rest of your life the more natural the product you can use to cure the complaint the better, i strongly recommend you check out our website.

Hey! I got rid of over 90% of the psoriasis I had on my arms, legs, torso and face by moving to a place with dry climate and high elevation... namely Albuquerque, New Mexico. I used to live in Connecticut where the dry winters and humid summers wreaked havoc on my psoriasis. I don't need any meds or creams anymore (which I used to take a lot of, namely clobetasol creams and foams and methotrexate.) I don't even think about the psoriasis much anymore. occasionally I'll get a small lesion, but it's usually quite small and doesn't bother me.

The anonymity of this forum lets the bad out of some. Everyone I have ever known has not been perfect nor will ever be. The older I get, the more laid back I get about life and seeing things in a broader way. Times too short for someone to rip on a stranger for anything. Ain't gonna get you a front row seat in heaven. ( not that I got that coming anyhow) Meanness hits all of us at one time or another. Controlling it or doing away with it is what we should be shooting for.

To get rid of psoriasis, your need to avoid alcoholic beverages, sweets and junk food. Combination of all these can weaken immune system and will make your body unable to fight off even small infections. Eat plenty of green leafy vegetables, B vitamins, drink plenty of water and expose yourself more to the sunlight. Sunlight helps restore skins own moisturizers and even out the tone. Psoriasis usually attacks people who just came out of trauma, intensive care and ones who took antibiotics alot. antibiotics destroy bad bacteria along with the good bacteria as well. In turn leaves your immune system weak and unable to even fight off cold or fever. Take care of yourself. See a dermatologist for effective creams and lotions while improving your immune system and health.

Psoriasis is a skin condition caused by the candida (yeast) fungus. While triamcinolone can help with the symptoms, it cannot "cure" the problem.

I am on a 10+ month "yeast cleanse", to get the overproduction of this fungus under control in my body.

There is some basic information on yeast overproduction syndrome at www.hufa.com

No but I would try anything to get rid of my psoriasis. So if it works let me know. Good luck. MG 217 has helped clear of some of my spots but it stains clothes. Always keep your skin moisturized.
