I would say jewel tone colors: burgundy, purple, gold, blue, with accents in creamy off-white colors.
You could also take cue from nature. Green goes well with sky blue, cloud white, darker or lighter woods, berry reds....and so forth!

RE:
What colors go best with hunter green?
I am getting a 3 piece hunter green leather sofa set and need to know what accent colors would go best with this. Any ideas?

To have a subtle room use dark tan or deepblue. To make it light and airy cream and a touch of gold or bronze. And everyone knows that white is the stand by color. I think the metalics are just wonderful.Bronze lamps look great with hunter green furniture......

I have a lot of burgandy with my hunter green. There are a lot of different shades in this family of colors that will go well with it.

A couple of options:
If you'd like an English hunt club look, try navy, burgundy, and a creamy color
If you'd like something a bit more bold, try peach

Try taupe, beige, cream, medium brown or a lighter shade of burgundy. Neutral colors always seem to match.
