I think it shows how many people are really sick of the over-emphasis on religion and religionists presently, clearly there are plenty of skeptics alive and well... in Britain anyway.

lol I'm sure Professor Dawkins is keenly aware of the irony that his book will top the bestseller lists during a holiday that is at least in theory supposed to be celebrating the birth of the son of God on earth :oD Sure tickles the hell outta me!

Dawkins has a very clear and uncompromising ability to cut through the fog of belief. What was that line of his again...

If there were no God, then good people would still do good things and bad people would still do bad things. It takes God to make good people do really bad things...

Addressing some other points: Revival in the church in the UK? I know quite a few extremist Christians who would love to see that happen. But if it didn't happen in response to Mel Gibson's Passion, I can't see it happening in a book-burning frenzy of response to Richard Dawkins, can you?

As for the AntiChrist coming out of Europe...well, if it's going to come from anywhere, then surely it should be a source of pride that the Ultimate Rationalist would come out of Europe?

I read it. Dawkins has some interesting points but the overall premise does not disprove the existence of God. No question religion has been used by world leaders throughout history to propagate their power and wealth. The current situation is the crescendo of the mis-use of God for un-holy gains.

Humans in all of our wisdom and with all of our vast brainpower have worked themselves into a situation which is clearly leading to the destruction of human kind. With our technology we can now eliminate virtually every person in the northern hemisphere with the push of a few buttons. With our technology we are releasing a cloud of CO2 which has been locked away for 600,000,000 years drastically changing the very environment in which we evolved to a point where it will no longer support us.

We are now at the brink of destruction over the right to own and sell the black poison which will ultimately destroy the environment if we live past the oil wars.

i might propose you to stay faraway from it. As a Christian, i be attentive to how sneaky and conniving devil is, and he ought to actual use this e book against you. it ought to convey forth many doubts and ought to offset your courting with God. in spite of the indisputable fact that, in case you surely experience you may desire to examine it (pray to be particular you're doing the marvelous element!), placed on the entire Armor of God in the past. Have the Scriptures good next to you so as that as quickly as you return in the time of a few thing that opposes God, you may seek for a verse that hinders Dawkins' argument. Be continually praying that the e book won't sway your non secular ideals. be careful.

What is wonderful is the rebound effect the book will have in causing revival to the church in the UK. I'll be praying for the church leaders out there to handle the flocks returning to the word of God. Amen brother!

Europe has really fallen away from God. It's just another sign of the end times. The AntiChrist will be coming out of the European Union and that time is very near.

People are diluting themselves when they don't understand the truth, and that is a shame, because the Truth is right there in the Bible with enough evidence to back it, if certain people are insecure in thier beliefs, they are really putting a curse on thier selves when they bring others down with them, its one thing to put your soul in jeopordy, but when you start recruiting others, it is a terrible sin.
