I work at a car dealership, and one of my jobs is selling at dealer auctions. I haven't been very successful lately. Is there anywhere I can get more information to help me sell these cars?

the only way to measure success,is by money. If you are not making money the dealership is giving too much for their trades. Basically the dealership wants you to be the wholesaler . In order to be fair to the consumer, the dealership should be breaking even in the long run, giving the most for the trades, and getting the most at auction. thereby eliminating the wholesaler. You need to sit down with your mgrs and find out what they expect of you and do the best you can

Next time you go to an auction, talk to the guys who are successful. Find out what they do and do the same.
The one thing that comes to mind is the cars you are trying to sell. Are they any good? Are they popular models? Are they late model cars or just junkers?
