I often roller set my hair during the day if I am going out somewhere special at night.
I have been known to pop down to the local shops, Visit family or pick up, drop off the the kids at school
Nowadays I do not give a hoot as a girl has got to look good when she is going out somewhere special at night
I find that roller sets are becoming very popular with younger women as they are the best way to style our hair and would like to encourage everybody to be not afraid to go out in your rollers whilst your hair is drying

You must have a very strong personality and very confident with yourself to do that. Wow, you go girl.
My mom and sisters will never do that, but that is just them, and they have to have their hair just right before going out, even to the garden.

I had spent ages putting rollers in and had to go down to the shops to buy a new pair of tights as the ones that matched my outfit had a ladder in them
However I put a scarf over my still damp rollers,

When I was in sixth grade I happened to put my hand on my head and it felt strange. I had taken out the rollers but never combed out the curls!! I had perfect rows of rolled curls!!

I would not say its getting caught. I go out on purpose with my hair rolled up. I roll up my hair nightly and been doing it over 10 years. Who cares what others say or think. I always get compliments about my hair, cause I do roll it up nightly, where others are too ashamed or lazy to roll it up and the first thing comes out of their mouth is I need a weave, I need braids, I need this....Because they let their hair break off, without taking care of their hair.

I've never been out in public in curlers but I do prefer them than curling irons, which are wayyyyyy more damaging.
