Me and my ex boyfriend broke up about a month and the half ago. He was very insecure and contollin and was jealous of the relationship i had with my friends so i gave it up. But He did alot for me ,like gave me money and brought me nice gifts and he trys to use that against me by saying all that stuff i did for u and this how you do me. I'm starting to think i did him bad because now i have feelings for someone else and he still calls tellin me how much he love me and wants us to get back toghether but i don' t think he has changed. And i'm gettin closer to this other guy. i don' want to break his heart even if we aren't together because i was his first love, but i want to move on. What should i do give him another chance and break things off with the other guy of take a chance with the other guy?

Just walk away. You said your ex was controlling. I was once in a controlling relationship and all it did was cause a heap of trouble and bring distance between my family and friends.

You didn't treat him bad, he treated you bad. Those gifts he gave you? Those were exactly what you called them...gifts. He got those for you because he wanted to, that's what happens in a relationship.

As for getting back together with him? Don't give him that luxury. You tell him that you cannot be with someone that wants to control your every move. Tell him you have moved on and you think he needs to do the same. You don't need him. All its going to do is cause you grief.

If the new guy is nice and doesn't act like a jerk....Go for it. Just don't hop into another relationship too quick. Be friends first and then see where it goes from there.

You'll eventually find someone who will treat you with nothing but respect and I wish you the best of luck...=)

if you go back to the old boyfriend then you are a retard. Anyone that throws giving you money and buying you things in your face is a
loser. He's not a real man, and probably never will be if you go back to him. If you go back to him, you will only hurt yourself and the guy your going back too, because neither one of you will grow from the repeated experience.

If he's still begging you to get back together, he's probably still as insecure as he ever was. You have a right to dump someone for whatever reason you choose. You owe him nothing. Move on.

Why would you even think of choosing a insecure, controlling & jealous guy over someone? They must be pretty horrible too. My advice is to find a new guy worthy of your time.

Move on your ex is trying to manipulate you by saying all that stuff I did for you. It shouldn't matter what he did for you as long as he did it for love. but it sounds like he did that stuff so that he could get something in return. just move on

Follow your heart, If you want to be with the guy you are talking to now then do it. Dont ever settle for anything less than what you deserve, okay!

If your over the first guy, then go with the new guy. Don't let guilt control ur decision. You have to let the first guy know that ith a first love also comes first heartbreak.
