no. They are getting paid to do a job, do you get tipped at your office job? You get bonuses for doing well in a fiscal year and so if they want a tip, they need to go the extra mile. You don't get something for nothing in this world. You can tip the gas station if you want, but that would defeat the purpose of the lower price. I think oyu are doing enough just by buying their gas. That said, always be courteous and use please and thank youas much as absolutely possible. Giving a genuine smile is contageous and worth more than a couple pennies.

This is a new one on me, I have never tipped at a service station and I don't know everyone who has. I worked at a full service station as a youngster, pumped a lot of gas and was never given a tip nor did I ever expect one.

Not usually, although if you are a regular and tip periodically, you will be more likely to get services when you may need or want them.

It would be nice, but if they are only providing you with gas and performing no other services it isn't necessary.

No tipping is helping pay their wages, it is up to the employer to pay them a proper wage. by tipping you really help the employer not the employee.
