I am in love with this girl and she loves me but we happen to both be in relationships and our partners love us dearly. We don't want to hurt either one, but we aren't happy because we want to be together. So what do we do?

You say neither one wants to hurt their partner. That is commendable. But by staying with them, you are hurting them more, in the long run. They will sense there is something wrong and not knowing, it will hurt them more. They will try to fix what is wrong and only hurt even more when they sense that there is nothing they can do.

The kindest thing would be to tell them the truth. Yes, it will hurt but they will then be free to find the love and happiness they deserve, from other people. This way, they are being unfairly held back from happiness. Don't ruin four lives by a misplaced sense of loyalty.

I think you both need to leave your other partners before you hurt them any further. Neither one of you are doing them any favors by staying with them because if you leave and go on to lead a happy life together, that will then allow them to go on and find the same as opposed being in a relationship with somebody who is constantly lying to them. Good luck!

you need to go ahead and end your current relationships, if you really love eachother you should be happy, but the longer you continue to stay with your current partner the more it'll hurt them, not only that you give them false hope by pretending to still be happy in a relationship with them, let them go so they can find someone they love who loves them back, u being unhappy in your current relatioships is just not healthy for you or your partners, tell the truth so everyone can move on and be happy

Let your heart lead the way!! Hahaha how cheezy did that sound?! Hahaha! Well anyways...it's true! Seriously If you want to be happy then just let your partners know! Your only hurting them by having this secret kept between the 2 of you!

Good Luck!!

Why should you sacrifice your happiness? You both should leave your partners to be together.

It's not the end of the world for your partners, life goes on. They deserve people who have mutual feelings for them. I'd rather be single than to be with someone who doesn't want to be with me.

you have no choice but to leave both partners before you hurt them more then if you just get it over with. It's like a band aid the more you try to prolong it the worse you make things. They both will understand in time that their was no other way.

You're not going to win with this one. You have to make a decision. You can't be in a reltaionship just because the other party loves you. That's not a relationship--it's infatuation. Either you have to stay with your partner or decide to break it off to be with the other girl. Period.

Hmm. this is always difficult. the movie way to go would be go on a double date and hopefully your partners will hit it off with each other. if you love her so much, break up with your partner and ask her to do the same. there is no point in staying with your partner if you are in love with someone else.

This sounds like a bad plot to an equally BAD movie. Life and love are about hurt sometimes. Dump the ones you don't dig (they'll get over it, trust me, because you and the other woman are NOT THAT GREAT, believe me). Sounds like a bunch of teenage angst going on here.

both of you leave your partners and be together .. you will hurt them more if you sneak around behind there backs .. you just need to be honest with your partner.. but make sure it is what you really want. the grass is not always greener on the other side
