it went orange because you really can't go from brown to blonde. I have dark brown hair and went blonde over the summer. I used the "born blonde" brand. It works awesome, check it out. Oh, and be careful, you might have to wait a week before doing any dyeing because it'll turn green. Maybe it is best to have the salon at least check it out.

oh, and I used garnier brand to go black because you can't go from blonde to black either, but the garnier brand worked really well.

oh I forgot, you CAN use those temporary dyes like natural instincts. it might tone down the oranginess depending on what color you get, don't get too dark a color though. maybe go for a copper or something, it's kinda orangy, but more of a reddish-orange....very pretty.

Hi, if your hair has gone orange it may not go a lighter shade of blonde. If you hair is light brown then it shouldnt have gone orange. I use the Bblonde for dark hair and i have light brown hair but it tends to go white which looks fake. But i wouldnt dye it over in a darker colour if you are thinking of going to a salon. If you dye it darker you will get a patchy results where some will take to the bleach or not. If you go to the hairdressers they will sort it out for you. But if you want to save money then of course use a hair dye and dont try to dye it blonde until is fully grown out. Also in furture please go to the hairdressers in the first place as like me your hair will be very damaged and fall out.

You may use the naissant blond pearl; at least, it helped me get rid off the orange tones from my hair and obtain a nice ash blond.

Too much dye too often equals a loss of hair. If you have orange hair due to dye then I suggest you see a beautician who can use safer methods to change the color.

Whatever you do, just don't bleach it that awful white color. Ick.

Just go to the salon and let them work their magic...they'll know what to do.
