If you're shy...start off slow, with a smile whenever you see her. If she smiles back, that's definitely a good sign! If not, that might be a hint that she might not be interested.
If you want to break the ice and approach her (and haven't done so already), you could start off with a compliment:
"Excuse me, but I just wanted to tell you that seeing your beautiful smile brightens up my day" or something of that nature...just nothing too cheesy and no lines that have been used way too much. Just be sincere.
If you already know each other, small talk is a good way to start. Like the others suggested, just be yourself. Find out what she's interested in and talk about that - people love talking about themselves - and don't forget the compliments. Good luck!

Just be yourself. Don't pretend to be something you're not. She'll see through it anyway. Just ask her about herself and you'll be fine.
And if she's not interested, it's NOT the end of the world!
