there was this person who told me that if you give up your virginity, you would find it very hard to find a person who would still love you whole heartedly despite of the fact that you lost it to someone else and would not see you as a sex object or past time or whatsoever. she even said that even if you are a successful and respectable woman, particularly, you would be mocked by this.
does most of the guys, after getting fed up with the girl they've been dating for quite some time would do such a thing? or there are still guys who would love a woman despite of this fact? what do you reckon?

i mean, what if she lost it to someone whom she thought deserves to share her soul with, would you see her as a slutty type or what? i mean, she does love a person honestly and whole heartedley.she's not the type of woman who deserves to be dumped.

We all have histories, if someone cant get past someones history then they arent really worth loving are they?
I will give you a good example. My Mom got married at 15 yrs old. It didnt work out and she was divorced by 17, and had given birth to my oldest brother. She met MY Dad soon after, fell in love and married him. They spent 26 great years together, until the time of his death (April 15, 1983) I find it hard to fathom that two people could survive 26 yrs together wihtout loving each other whole heartedly. Ten years later my Mom married my Stepdad ( Bill) they spent another 10 great years together, and I honestly believe he loved Mom with all his heart and soul. Also neither my wife or myself were virgins when we got married, we are divorced now but I will go to my grave loving her with all my heart.
If you are looking for someone to say it is ok to have sex and lose your virginity then know that I advise you to wait, but again I want to state that someone who cant get past your HISTORY is not worth pursuing a relationship with anyway.

As far as I'm concerned, it the way of the world these days...
You are damned lucky if you find a virgin you think you want to spend the rest of your life with, and even luckier if you ACTUALLY DO want to spend the rest of your life with her/him.
No matter how much you may love someone and truely believe this is forever in the first place, lets get a reality check here, that is rarely gonna last. After all, people change, relationships turn sour, people get seriously hurt.
I have nothing but respect for those people that want to stay untouched until marriage. I couldn't do it, but I have my own reasons for that.
Its got to be your decision at the end of the day...
Do what you think is right. Almost everyone has a past, so why should it be held against you.

That's a pretty antiquated concept in this day and age of equality of the sexes. My thought is why is a woman who isn't a virgin "used", while a man who isn't a virgin is "experienced". This seems to me to be a double standard and not fair, either to women or men. Any man who would use this sort of thing against a woman is unethical and should be cut off at the knees. Period. The same goes for any woman who would do such a thing, it just isn't fair or right.

..........you listen too close. I hate when people state their own opinions and disguise it as "Fact". Thats not true by far. There may be some guys out there that may agree with that statement, but guys dont measure a womans worth by her virginity.
A lot of guys run from relationships PERIOD. Its all about the female herself, not whether or not she gave herself to someone before or not.
Better question: Guys, are you intimidated by getting involved (Relationship-wise) with a virgin.
Some guys would'nt want to get involved w/ virgins because it means too many things.
The first guy they sleep with, they want to start a relationship with....with them being virgins means that they are inexperienced in bed......etc. Those are just some of the things that they MAY think. Not all guys are like that, but if you ask them, some will question dating a virgin.
Continue your research......

Oh my my my, some people really have it so wrong! This person that said this is full of sh*t BELIEVE me please!
Even stupid men who don't have much respect for women don't expect them to be virgins! It's crazy, there's nothing at all wrong with having sex, whether it's cos you think you are soul mates, or simply cos you want to have sex with them! And the vast majority of men would agree, and any that don't are completely living in the dark ages.
Don't worry about it for another second sweetheart, this person who told you this is crazy! x

load of nonsense if someone loves you its because of you not some thin membrane that someone else broke then broke your heart you do know you can tear the hymen by riding a horse dont you so if its that easy why worry and if a man cant love you because your not a virgin then he doesnt deserve you any way love is much deeper than that and if he loves you then its because of the full package not just bits and to suggest he cant love you as much because you were,nt a virgin is total rubbish of course he can theworld would not exsist if every one had that idea that peson is an idiot pure and simple dont listen to them

if you lose your virginity whilst in a loving and meaningful relationship only a very shallow narrow minded person could hold it against you if things failed to work out in the long term. i lost mine to my childhood sweetheart but after many years together we grew apart. my hubby has never had a problem with it and will quite happily chat with my ex if we bump into him. it's how mature people behave.

Well, at some age most women aren't virgins anymore.
But, if she started having sex at 13 or 14 or so, then there's a big problem.

makes a difference when your young maybe. as you get older (>20) will make no difference at all. In fact by the time you are mid twenties there will be no virgins around.
this person sounds like they have been brainwashed with church propoganda.
