I may travel from LAX to Japan. It will be a long flight I believe. I have long legs too. I want more space in front of my seat. Can you give me suggestion?

I flew from JFK to Rome on American Airlines and it was soooo uncomfortable!! I'm only 5'1" and I felt cramped in their little aisles. That was about 3 years ago, so maybe they've upgraded or something? I haven't flown them since. I remember the seats being pretty uncomfortable.

I have a friend who flew from LAX to Japan and she opted to just suck it up and spend the extra money to fly Business class and she said she was way more comfortable. She flies there like once a year. It's more expensive, but she said it was well worth it.

Anyways, Good luck and have FUN!! Japan is suppose to be amazing.

Besides providing a more comfy ride, their service is outstanding! We moved to Germany and my parents followed us a few weeks later. Northwest lost my Mother's suitcase with all her medication in it. They told her at the airport that someone would bring her bag to her as soon as they located it. (For some reason it had flown on a different flight). It was 10 p.m. that night when it arrived by a Northwest employee - even though the airport was an hour from my house. Fly Northwest, hands down!

United! NW isn't cautioned. Why do not you attempt to determine Malaysia airways, they have 'known Low Fares' that provides very much less high priced, LCC fares at the instant, or attempt to fly Garuda to Beijing/Shanghai then take a greater much low-priced chinese language airline to Tokyo.

American Airlines has the best leg room in any class, coach, business or first. If you really want extra leg room, sit in the exit row seats.

I personally liked American Airlines. I am 5' 8" and really liked who they addressed me. Good luck on our trip.

In my own experience, Northwestern's your best bet for service and comfort.
