some times as i am driving I just say 'hey God, that is a beautiful sunset, or what ever. That is a prayer. Sometimes I will use the formal templet given by Jesus and insert my own words. Most often I just call out to God and tell him what ever it is I have to tell him. The relationship of God to His people is one-on-one and personal... there is nothing that can not be said between God and His people. In what ever form it takes to get the thought accross...God only hears the sincier prayers of those of The Church...those of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head.
I accept email questions concerning the basics of The True Christian Faith. One honest question receives one honest answer, to the best of my ability.

It depends on what I'm praying for. If, for example, I want to pray to get a job, my method of prayer is to fill out several résumés and distribute them to various employers. If I want to pray for wisdom about a decision I have to make, I pray by asking friends for their advice and reading up on the problem.

I am a Baptist. It is only through the shed blood of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. I praise God, thank Him for all the many blessings He gives, I thank Jesus for all He's done and aske forgiveness for my sins, I make requests for others needs and pray for my governmental leaders as they make the decisions they need to make. I ask the Lord to help me to be what He wants me to be and to lead , guide and direct me.

"Oh Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy will be done as in Heaven so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread & lead us not into temptation & deliver us from evil. Teach me not to trespass against others as I learn to forgive those who trespass against me. Thank you for another lovely day and (whatever I am thankful for) this wonderful meal I am about to receive. Amen.:o]

But in general, just call His name, and make your requests, ( the less selfish or materialistic the better & more likely He'll respond ) thank Him for what He has given u thus far. Then say Amen.

I simply talk to God, like im talking to a friend. he's my Savior and i think the easiest way to pray is just to talk to him. Sometimes i speak with my mouth and sometimes i know God is just reading my heart.

You bow your head and close your eyes. You calm your self and speak from your heart to the lord. You remain respectful, and I always end it with "in Jesus name I pray Amen".
