I think you should try for all three. Make her laugh, woo her and dress nice when you see her. There is not much more a girl can ask for.

Depends on the girl. Myself,I'm a big geek, so when I got a valentine from my boyfriend with a picture of Wolverine on it, claws out, with the caption, "do me or I'll stab you," I giggled for hours and just about melted.
Normal girls probably wouldn't be so entertained. But the "trick" if it IS a trick, to impressing a girl is, pay attention to her. Does she like cheesy 80's movies? Stand under her window in the rain with a boombox playing that song that John Cusack played in Say Anything. Just find out something about her, and act on it.

She'll make up her mind on whether to keep you or throw you back simply based on your personality & charm. Without them you don't stand a chance. If the only way she will go out with you need to impress her, I'd re-think wasting the effort and time. Go for somebody who is attracted to you just for you not because you impressed them.

Show some interest in her and let her know that you are trying to impress her. Then ignore her. Or try to look at another girl in her presence if possible. That will bring her closer to you.

well for me the first thing is that I must like the way he looks not that he must be very handsome but iI should like the way he looks, and after that is best for him to be comic atfirst and then after a while he can start being romantic.
