the answer is (as in many things in medicine) - depends.
1. hep. B and hep C are contiguous disease if a person is a carrier.
2. the main 2 ways of infecting another person in those 2 are: sex and blood transfusion (including drug abuse)
3. hep. A - which is usually a self limiting disease can be passed through the fecal oral root - like when one who has it didn't wash his hands after using the toilet and than serves food....

hep can be caught via sexual transmission or body fluid such as saliva, injections to prevent the desease are very easy to get aND ARE CHEAP, GO GET SOME, MOST PEOPLE WHO WORK IN THE HEALTH SERVICE GET THEM FOR NOTHING..

Absolutely. Avoid sharing razors if you have a family member who has hepatitis. My mother in law passed it to one of her daughters this way and now her grandson has it. =/
