Yes, but not always for bad reasons. Some people think they are a Christian for the wrong reasons. There leading a good life but believe that they were saved by works instead of by faith. It will be very sad to see these people turned away at heaven. Others think that they are saved but show no signs of having Christ in their lives. They did not enter into salvation with faith but merely as the thing to do, another thing to check off on the list. These individuals confessed with their mind and not their heart. Being saved and going to church is just another task for them like buying grocries and going to work. And of course you have those that pretend to be Christians for their own gain either financialy or in a vain attempt to gain power or social status.

Yup. Got a lot of people in my church like that. Sad to say. They're out for a social call and have no faith.

Easily. I could get everyone believing I'm a practicing catholic. I can talk the talk and walk the walk (for a little while anyway).

Sure. Lots of people have done it to escape persecution. Anyone can go through a ritual or go to church once a week. Doesn't mean they have to belief it.
