my daughter says she sees them all the time, when she was a baby she had meningitis and "died" for about 3 minutes, thank god we still have her!!! the first incident she had was when she could just talk, my husband was away visiting his nana who had cancer, my daughter, at almost the exact time when my husbands nana died said "look mummy, i can see aunty holly (my husbands sister) but she looks not the same", turns out my husbands nana looked very similar to "auntie holly" and at the time of the incident, i had no idea that she had died, i found out the next day! everybody was stunned! also, on the same night, my daughter said she saw a little boy with a sore leg, because she didnt have complete vocabulary, i wasnt able to get alot more info out of her.

the most recent incidents regard my dad who passed away last year. my daughter called him poppy and she says she always sees "poppys ghost", in dreams and in her room e.t.c.
it gives me the best feeling because she says things like "mum, poppy said he loves me and you", because i miss my dad so much and he died very suddenly, it makes me feel like i can say goodbye through her!
about two weeks ago, we were talking about her experiences seeing him and she said "but mum, i saw poppy last night and he said his new name is mark (my dads name was shane) he looks the same but his name is different" - i wonder if he has somehow re-incarnated and can still visit her?!?!?!

More than I can count.
Just be aware and at peace and they will be mindfull of you and not be a bother
the older the home the more likely there is to be some of the past residents there.

Oh yes! Years ago. I lived in an apartment right across the street from a graveyard! Every night once I got into bed I would feel the pressure of someone sitting at the opposite side of my bed. I believe that a little old man died in the apartment that I rented. And I use to hold conversations with him like he was alive. Sometimes I would tell him that my butt was tired from working all day and that I didn't have time to hold a conversation with him that night on certain nights. He would just go away and come back every now and then. I would see shadows scrolling across the baseboard of my floors. My daughter and son lived with me at the time and when I told them that the apartment was haunted, they thought I was crazy. Until one day they saw it for themselves. They wanted to move. I told them I wasn't letting no one or nothing dead chase me out of my home. I use to work in the morgue so I know that the dead can't hurt you. It's the damn living you have to worry about. Plus he was just a nice little old man that just wanted someone to talk to him. So there were days when I did.

Since children have not yet gone through all the indoctrination that all humans go through (Ghosts don't exist, It was a nightmare, It's just your imagination, etc) their minds are more open to other worlds. So, yes, it is likely that they see things adults cannot.

I have one experience with a ghost. My grandfather died in '98. In '01, I got married and my husband and I spent our honeymoon in my grandparents' hometown. We stayed with my grandma, who was happy to let us sleep in the master bedroom in the queen size bed while she slept in the guestroom on the twin size bed. It felt a little weird, to be sleeping in the same bed that my grandpa died in, on the same spot.

On the third night there, I woke up at 2am for no reason. Since I was on some pretty heavy duty meds at the time, I always slept through the night. But this time, I came awake with clarity. No grogginess, which was also unusual. I took a look around and saw a white shape about 6 feet tall standing in the corner looking at me. I felt a sense of awe and reassurance.

Thinking it might be my imagination, I nudged my husband awake and asked him if he saw anything. He sat up and stared, saying that yes, indeed he did! Then, he said, "I guess you don't need to be sad that I never got to meet your grandpa. Because I think he's right over there!" We talked to him a little bit and he didn't say anything, just stood there. He moved a little bit. Finally, my husband and I went back to sleep with grandpa watching over us.

The next night, we still weren't sure whether it had been grandpa or a trick of the light, we stayed up until 2am. We turned out the lights and looked to the same corner. Nothing. Something had definitely been in there the night before and both of us had seen it.

My grandma said that later on, she smells his cigarettes from time to time in the hallway, even though he never smoked in the house. Sometimes, grandpa's dog would run to the doorway for no reason. I truly do believe that grandpa is in that house. Maybe he's waiting for grandma.

There's no such thing as Ghost, what you are seeing is spirits. And yes children seem to see them more often then adults. I am a person the sees them also. I thing one of the comments was pray for the ghost. You could pray for them, but your prayer would be in vain. Spirits or so called ghost are of the devil and they come to disrupt your life and your home. I work an a 103 year old hotel/restaurant and see things all the time. People think its the ghost of the ones that died hear but their not is just the works of the devil.

I haven't seen anything that I am sure was ghosts but I have had a few unexplainable incidents.

The first was when I was 14. I was hanging out with a friend at her house. She had previously told me that her apartment has haunted and that her little sister, four at the time, whould talk to them. Well, we were drinking, it was my first time actually, but I wasn't drunk yet, and an really loud fight broke out between myfriend's older sister and her ex-boyfriend and suddenly the large stereo speakers and some other items that were on top of the entertainment center flew off and onto the floor! We were seated on the couch and the couple was arguing in the other room. None of the occupants could have done it. It was like an invisible arm just swiped all the stuff of the entertainment center's surface in anger. Pretty scary. My friends said the ghost doesn't like fights. He litlle sister would have siezures - not the violent skaking kind, but the kind where they seem to trance out - and she would supposedly communicate with the ghost. I never witnessed it though. Oh yeah and the ghost was a little girl.

The second time was in my apartment when I was twenty one. I would always see wispy shadows, get cold chills, and wake up in the middle of the night with the feeling that someone was over me watching and get really scared. At the time I though I was just crazy and imagining things. I was convinced I was developing schizaphrenia, but turns out I was just young adult and confused, but anyway ... My sister in law came to stay with me one night, and she said to me without any prior talk of hautings or ghosts, she said, "Honey, your house is haunted" (She's from Tennessee, so imagine it in a cute little southern accent) She and my brother had just supposedly left a haunted house. I asked why? and she said she was seeing the black translucent whispy things that I'd often see. We started to talk about them and I know she saw what I had been seeing. We were seated about a foot away from one another on the sofa, she on left and I on the right, and suddently - HERE'S THE CREAPY PART - we felt something sit down between us, not physically in the sense that we felt weight, no we felt a buzzy energy in exactly half of our bodies. She developed goose bumps on the right hand side of her body only and I developed them on the left side of my body and the side with goose bumps was cold and seemed to vibrate. The outside halves or our body didn't change at all! It was as if the engery that occupied the space between us intentionally set it boundaries inside of us. wWeird stuff, but ever since that day I know there are energetic forces out there percievable to humans but it ways we cannot mesure in order to empirically understand.

The last time I was twenty two. My ex-boyfriend and I were driving in the woods after rock climbing and we saw these very pretty fluffy orbs of white light seems to dance with one another in our car. At first I though they were dandilion seeds beeing carried by the wind, but in another instant I realized that they it was light and not physical and there was no air currents that could make them dance like that. It was almost as if one orb chased they other, like birds playing in mid-flight. The orbs were small, about the size of a US quarter dollar. It was not at all scary like other experiences I have mentioned. I was calming and I feel luck to have been there.

Ghosts? Who know's. I would be nice to know that I could communicate with those that I have lost, but I don't think it's proof as ghost. I find it odd that my experiences have been both dard and light. I wonder if the energies are even related. Tell us about your daughters experiences, I am curious.

Children do seem to be more sensitive than most adults. I've only ever seen one, and that was my Great Great Grandfather telling me goodbye. He was still in Sweden and I hadn't yet learned he was dead. When I got the news later that day, I just said, "I know. He stopped by to say 'bye'." I was 14 at the time, so maybe a bit more sensitive to it than my older siblings and parents.

Or maybe "morfar" just loved me best.

Yes. I've seen many. Children have just come from God. So they're more open to the spirit world. Much like the elderly who are getting ready to go back to God.

Pray for the ghosts. Pray for the light of God to come for them. Pray they find peace.

Eternal rest grant unto them, oh Lord. May your perpetual light shine upon them.

What most people call "ghosts" are unclean spirits sent to trap the innocent or ignorant. The Bible says, "absent from the body, present with Christ." for believers. Non-believers are kept in Hades (NOT hell) until the second coming, at which time, they will be judged.

Children are not blinded by society. Their third eye remains open, and they can see the spirits inhabiting this world. The reason many adults can not see them is because they have been blinded by societal reasoning. I was blinded, but meditated to open my third eye once again.

Bless you and your daughter.
