Kenny Norton could beat and compete with heavyweights who were boxers (Holmes and Ali). Norton had problems when he fought Heavyweight sluggers (he was destroyed by Foreman) that came right at you. Norton didn't like to fight while backing up, and that's exactly what Frazier would do to him. Frazier would put relentless pressure on Kenny. Frazier would force the fight the whole way until he KO'd Norton in round 11.

In their prime, Smokin' Joe would have made short work of Norton. I only wish Ali would have fought Norton before the government took his right to fight away from him. Norton's talent was not even close to either Frazier or Ali in their prime.

Gotta go with Smokin' Joe! I think he would've outworked and out punched Norton and took a unanimous decision with Joe landing the harder shots and being the busier fighter. Norton's crablike defense may bother Joe a little but eventually Joe's relentless pressure would open him up and land some bombs against him. But i do see this going the distance with both men landing some hard shots.

ken norton got a bad decision against Ali ,Frazier got lucky against Ali i think Norton would have been victorious over 2 fights.
