where would you look to find the best buy?

I would like to get info on trusted website sellers and retail shops.

If you're in the USA, compare prices at B&H, Ritz Camera, and Beach Camera.
They all have very good prices to begin with, they're completely reliable (including relaxed about returns), and they have a wide selection of gear.

I've had very good luck with a New York company called Adorama. Try Popular Photography Magazine and look for Adorama's ad. Or go to Adorama.com
