I can get it shiny, but it is soo poofy, when I straighten it! I have tried nearly every straightener! I haven't tried Sedu yet tho, so i'm thinking about it.

Is any way too get it from being poofy and UGLY!?? Please HELP!!

Use a little mousse and straightening serum in damp hair, then blow dry while combing straight until completely dry. Sleek with a little more serum (I use "Pearitin" from the beauty supply store) and straighten with a ceramic straightening iron. Sleek again with serum if necessary. Result = Smooth, sleek, straight hair!

I totally identify with you. I've even wrapped my hair in plastic wrap all the way to the ends. Its what works best for me. There is this Japanese method I keep hearing about but its very expensive. It works though, I've seen the results and its what I'd do if I could afford it. So after your straightening routine, try wrapping your hair in plastic wrap, you'll need bobby pins to keep it in place and some elastic bands to loosely wrap around a few places. That should work but your ends will be a tiny bit puffy, but nothing like what you usually have to deal with. Hopefully, if you have a boyfriend you've been with him for a WHILE, CUZ YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO GO TO SLEEP WITH YOUR HAIR LIKE THAT! I think the heat helps.
