Friends make the best lovers

2006-10-16 07:03:45 · answer #1 · answered by heaven o 4 · 0 0

Yes. Its not only possible, but it happens more often than you might think. The closer you are as friends the better base you have for a legitimate relationship, which inevitably leads to a more physical relationship.

Alternatively, you can also end up as "friends with benefits". This happens very easily between close friends because there is an element of comfort and trust that not always available in other relationships.

The key thing to remember is just be careful not to hurt each other's feelings. Being friends is an excellent start to any relationship or simple dating, but it can backfire if feelings are hurt. The most common problem is jealousy before or after.

Just take things easy, don't push too hard and let things take their own course.

Anyone can actually be lovers, but the better question is, Can lovers be friends?
I know it starts out like that, but once you cross that line-there is no going back. And what if you dont feel the same way after that. Many times I have passed on turning friends into lovers because I was afraid of how I would feel after that and that it would somehow change or ruin or friendship. You can sleep with anyone but a person has only so many friends.

Yes but the danger in that is that you might loose your best friend. I made the mistake pf marrying mine and regret it! When the relationship ended I lost both my husband AND my best friend. Communicate honestly with each other and weigh the pros and cons. Good friends are a treasure. When you're young...relationships come and go. Is the friendship worth the risk???

Of course it is, and can be a great asset to the relationship. It can also mean that there could be the loss of a friend if things go awry. I'm just saying there are no guarantees, just boundless possibilities!

Yes, however there a consequences that will come with that. If you have a fallen out you will not be able to go back to be just friends. There will be to much emotion wraped up in it. So that would be something you would really need to think about.

Depends on the kind of relationship you have with your friend. I recently (6 months or so ago) became more than friends with my best friend of six years, and I must say that I am much more comfortable in a non-platonic relationship with him than I ever was as best friends. I am very happy in my relationship with him and am so glad that we crossed that line.

So my answer is a resounding YES!!!
