Chicken Nuggets

Cook Time: 20 Minutes Ready In: 30 Minutes
Yields: 4 servings

"Sesame seed batter gives a new twist to these favored munchies."
INGREDIENTS:
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
2 cups corn oil
1 egg, beaten
1/3 cup water 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
1 1/2 teaspoons salt

DIRECTIONS:
1. Rinse chicken with cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Cut into 1x1x1/2 inch pieces.
2. Fill a deep fryer with corn oil, no more than 1/3 full. Heat to medium heat.
3. Place egg and water in a small bowl and mix well. Add the flour, sesame seeds and salt, stirring until a smooth batter is formed.

4. Dip chicken pieces in batter and drain off any excess. Add battered chicken, a few pieces at a time, to the hot oil. Fry about 4 minutes or until golden brown and done (remove chicken from oil to test). Drain on paper towels.

Crispy Potato Pancakes

"Here's a potato pancake that doesn't take much time to make and is just right for two people. Weekends become our time to relax and enjoy life, and this is one of our favorite treats. -Nancy Salinas, Grand Rapids, Minnesota"

INGREDIENTS:
2 medium potatoes, peeled
1 egg
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
vegetable oil

DIRECTIONS:
1. Finely grate potatoes; drain any liquid. Place potatoes in a bowl. Add egg, onion, flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder; mix well. In a large skillet, heat 1/8 in. of oil over medium heat. Drop batter by 1/4 cupfuls; press lightly to flatten. Fry until golden brown on both sides. Serve immediately.

My favourite is the cheese ones but I love them all

Plus nuggets especially the cheap ones are made of the crappy leftovers in the chicken slaughterhouse

Neither both are full of additives, make your own chicken nuggets using fresh chicken, and crispy pancakes with real mince and nice pastry.

depends what flavour crispy pancakes, cheese and ham are a bit on the gross side, but the mincy ones are delicious!!! and ya cany go wrong with chicken nuggets!! bon appetite!
