Yes of course I would do this. I try to take every opportunity to mingle with all kinds of people. A lot can be learned from this.

Why do you think I am here today?? Spending time with religious people that dont beleive what I beleive. (Im an atheist).
I hope to acheive an understanding of why so many people still beleive in what amounts to fairy tales, and I am hoping to spread a little knowledge about the real facts of science, not the silly notions fostered by the religious right of this country (such as the question "If we came from monkeys, while are there still monkeys?")
Lets just look at miracles for a second. Ever heard of Lourdes in France? A place of "miraculous healing abilities." Funny thing is, over 6 million people visit this spot ANNUALLY....and the Vatican only has 67 CONFIRMED "MIRACLES" taking place in the ENTIRE WORLD. So, thats like 1/1000 of 1% of visitors "experiencing a miracle."
Oh, and the lady that discovered the place? Yeah, she died of tuberculosis at age 32.....some miracle cure, eh?

I would any day, any time, any place. I am hungry for food for thought. Being open minded is part of knowing as much as u can to learn about everything that's going on around u. I hope to acheive a better understanding of their faith as well as mine. We can all learn from each other and to better respect each others beliefs and way of life. I attend a christian non denominational church where we have christians, muslims, and 5%ers who attend, and my religion is no different than any other out there. In the end we all pray to one God, one may pray to Jesus another to Allah, another to Jehovah, another to shalom, God had many names but only one existed and still exists. I am always open to learn about other beliefs and why. My husband used to practive muslim, 5%, and others, he now considers himself a universal builder as God was. Nowhere in the bible does is state what religion our father was. He was preaching Unity, and equality not to divide and conquer...
May God bless everyone to keep an open mind..

I, a Humanist, am coming from dinner now with some Muslims, some Christians, some other Humanists and one Buddhist. This is not all that extraordinary for me.
Of course, we didn't actually speak about religion, so your additional questions don't really apply.
I think one of the best ways to learn about a person's religion is not to speak about religion with that person.

Yes I would spend a day with ppl from different religions to find common grounds to allow harmony.
I would hope to achieve harmony based on similarities vs differences.
I would hope to learn more about the women in their cultures and their achievements and desires to have better lives.
I would hope to teach about Jesus Christ and the Eucharist.

No. Because the sole reason for spending a day with a person based on their religion, would be for the sake of learning about that particular religion. I am not interested in any religion.
I would however be interested in spending a day with a different person than myself irregardless of their religious beliefs.

I would! The only thing I could think of to achieve is a better understanding of their beliefs and why they believe it. I would not try to teach them anything about my religion because I have chosen to spend the day with them so I would be trying to learn about them not convert them to my beliefs!

Yes, I love to learn about others religions.
What would you hope to achieve?
To enhance my understanding of other's beliefs
What would you hope to learn?
The way that they explain the human psyche
What would you hope to teach about your religion?
We are not to teach the Dharma unless asked. I would not preach Buddhism, I would only answer the questions of others...

Sure. But I'd spend the day with them NOT in order to learn something about their religion, but in order to enjoy their presence REGARDLESS of their religions. I mean, I know very valuable people who are believers (BTW, I am an unbeliever). But they're valuable among other things, because they are not always nagging to convert people.
