hi. i have an addiction to kitkats. i am homeschooled, i dont have friends. like, not even one friend. reason why i am homeschooled is because when i WAS going to regular school. it was hell. i couldnt concentrate, i hated the typical ''school drama'' that goes on, and not being able to find a person that understood me. so, i would usually beg my mom to make me homeschool, until one time she noticed all my grades were going down, down down. and now, three years later, im still homeschooling, i still have no friends, im ALWAYS on the computer, i DO NOT have a life outside of it because i dont even go outside to even take out the trash! i've never seen outside in exactly three years. november will make it exactly three years. and i mean this literally too.
im very, very depressed. i dont go to even see my doc b/c as i said, i've never been outside in three years. yeah, how many of you can say this? lol its funny how ppl say understand you when they have NO CLUE at all. This is me on my computer. http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i41/NIKKIRD/A8ARSMSPFCBL.jpg Can you tell on my face that im suffering? My mom doesnt understand. i've lost interest in everything. What can i do to get better? I'd like to hear from ppl. not doctors or counselors b/c im sure they dont know what their doing. no seriously.

I was also homeschooled and also for 3 years. My reason wasn't quite like yours, but you should see your counselor because they can help you if you are feeling badly. They most likely won't understand your situation but they will listen and sometimes that's all you really need. As for going outside, it's beautiful outside and I'm sure if you go outside and try to start a conversation with someone you can make many friends. Try to find something that you think that you'll like outside and then do it. I'm sure that you can't dislike everything. You really should go outside because it helps you clear your mind better then sitting in front of the computer like a drone. No one will want to be friends with someone like that. Also if you want to have friends try your local YMCA and see if they have a gym program for homeschoolers. It's great I did it and it's a lot of fun.

The only was to help yourself is to get out and start getting active. You won't get any happier sitting in the house all day. People will not knock on your door and ask to be your friend. I can say I understand because I HAVE been there before. I was very isolated in my early high school years, I was so unhappy and my parents just didn't get it. I felt trapped. That phase came and went in a year or two, I made a few friends and never looked back.

The fact that you have not gone outside in 3 years and your mother has not taken you to get help is a little alarming. I don't know how old you are but maybe you should get a part time job where you'll meet people your age.

I am really sorry on how you feel. I do understand what it is that made you become a recluse. being a teenager is very hard. A lot of ups and sowns and youve been down a long time.

You need to get out of your house. I know this is easier said then done for you but you need to do it for yourself.

It would also be very helpfull for you to see a counseller or psycologest to help you deal with your feelings because all you are doing is hiding from them staying inside. Maybe you can have one come to your home so that at first you can feel safe in your own environment.

SO IT dont waste your life

Im sure you do have some form of a friend though wahat about from chatrooms? Even if they live in another state or country, if you don't noe their real name what they look like if you can have a conversation with them and you like them I would call them a friend

What is wrong with your mother? If my children didn't want to go outside I would definitely know there was something wrong! You are a young, pretty girl! There is more to life than kitkats and the computer! Make yourself go outside! There is a whole world to explore! You need friends, outside interest, social interactions. You need sunshine and fresh air! Don't you like to swim? Run, jog, ride your bike? How about build a snow man in the winter, jump in a pile of leaves in the fall. There is SO much you are missing out on!

I suggest you get on your knees and pray to God for Salvation.
I was once in your situation. Then God came into my life. I know that Public school sucks! I was there and did not have a friend in the world. I hated everything and started to draw myself from the world. I prayed God would help me. This is something no one but God can help with. If you are over 15 and under 18. Here in kentucky there is a wonderfull Christian boarding school that would be glad to help you out take time and write them. Mount Carmel Highschool P.O. Box 2 Vancleve Ky,41385. Iam here for you. And you will be in my prayers.
