Alma for a young virgin-and not bethula-Joel 1vs9 "Weep as a widow living as a virgin -bethula-for the husband of her youth.

a sign-to have a miracle-what is more of a miracle-without the fathers blood from adam -it was pure so it could replace the sacrificial lamb-needed to atone for sins

abraham was suppose to sacrifice his son-but since his son was from adam-he was not acceptable to atone for sins

hebrew emanuel--means with us God (el means God) God with us ---like the spanish House big casa Grande=big house

Yes it is a well-known fact the OT points to our Messiah in the NT. In Ps.22 is a tender monologue ref to the Cross. The OT is full of symbols ref to Christ even the sacrifice as He is the sacrificial Lamb of God. Roman 9:33 ref's to Isa 'HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED'. In 1Cor 1:24 ref to Jew & Gents and I am blest also to be 1/2 Jew(dad) and 1/2 Gent but mainly a Christian(Jesus a Jew). God Bless & keep you friend!

No, Jesus was not the messiah predicted in the book of Isaiah, and no, you are not Jewish; you are an insecure Christian convert who posts the same stuff over and over again, trying to get reassurance from Christians that you're a good boy. <>

The verse in Joel- It's talking about a betrothed, who is still a virgin. That's why it's so much crying. And explain: Deuteronomy 22:14 and on, a besula has to be something physical, and it must be virginity, see Judges 11:38-9. And if Almah means virgin, then why is there a male form of it (Samuel I, 17:56), since it's a physical characteristic, and males don't have any physical sign?

Isaiah is talking about a prophecy that is realized LATER IN THE SAME BOOK.

also "virgin" is a mistranslation.
