Some dentists are just in it for the money. But you can usually tell these ones pretty quick, with their expensive art on the walls and the leather couches in the waiting room. And, of course, the inflated cost of even the most rudimentary procedures.
Shop around for a dentist's office that seems reasonably priced. Get word of mouth referrals from friends and relatives. Do your homework! Check out the dentist with the college of Dentistry in your area. Make your decision on knowledge, not just guesswork.
Some dentists are in it strictly for the money. Others genuinely enjoy their work. I vote for finding one from the second possibility.

Just like any profession, some overcharge and some are legit. Some tell you you need 5 root canals others tells you you only need 1. It seems more risky than a box of chocolates, some dentists you never know what your gonna get and you can't just spit out the bad ones! I hate the zinging drill noise, and the air that hits that 1 painful tooth. I can't even hardly stand in the room with my kids!

let me make this clear, ALL dentists are in it for the money. why the heck else would we go to 8 years of college and stress over being the smartest in the class.
i'll let peace corps dentists and dental school teachers off the hook but that's it.
that said, yes, you can trust your dentist because there are so many people out there that need dental work that we don't have to be crooked. the coca cola corporation has made our jobs so easy i almost feel bad.
and what's wrong with being in it for the money? isn't that why you go to your job everyday?

You have a couple of choices. Trust your dentist. Find a different dentist. Let your teeth rot out.
Personally, I don't know anybody against dentists. Also, I don't know anybody who enjoys having their teeth drilled.

I Gallup Polls, dentists are ALWAYS in the top ten for most trusted professions or occupations and generally in the top five. I remember at least one year when we were ranked number three. Nurses are usually number one, if I recall. Gee, a nurse killed my daughter and my father, but I still hold MOST of the profession in the highest esteem. They didn't MEAN to do it. They were just crappy nurses.
Lawyers, used car salesmen, actors and others are usually in the bottom.

i'm no longer particular you could. that's a private corporation, and till you could tutor they we are discriminatory hostile to a particular aspect of your race, gender, custom or some thing of the form. Then there is not any longer some thing you may want to do. As a private corporation they can refuse service to whom ever they prefer, see you later because it does no longer violate someone's rights. in the journey that they sense you do not care on your tooth, and refuse to address you because you do not care sufficient to comb as regularly as you need to. Then that's their authentic to attain this. i think you may want to nonetheless pursue it in case you extremely had to, yet you may want to elect a legal specialist. that's no longer properly worth it. Being rude isn't against the law. no longer liking you as someone and by no skill wanting to address you is likewise no longer against the law. I propose you in hardship-free words discover yet another dentist. And brush better wisely. possibly you could dodge those unlucky happenings contained in the destiny.
