A few years ago I started shaving all my pubic area. I really like the "no hair down there feeling" but now I am getting very itchy when the hair grows back (and it is not yeast). It never used to happen. And if I shave every two days it is very irritating to my skin. I have very sensitive skin too. I use razors with sensitive strips and have even tried ones with three or more blades still no change. I only use my razor twice then throw it away. I have tried using soap, shaving cream, conditioner everything. Is there anything I can put on during or after to help?

Shaving every 2 days is good. Use a gel for sensitive skin. Invest in a good razor. I like the Intuition. No need to buy shaving gel/cream and the razor is really good. Then you have to get this cream called Bikini Zone. It cuts down on the bumps and stops the itching. It burns at first but only for a couple seconds. After that your skin is soft and it isn't itchy and irritated anymore. You can find this cream at a drug store.

Try using a Fusion 5 blade razor. It distributes more of the cutting surface leaving the skin flatter and prevents irratation. I've gone form the Quatra razor to the fusion and it's a lot better. Dash on some baby powder to help.

You may try "Bikini Zone" or you may want to quit shaving and use a depilitory cream such as Veet or something made for sensitive skin. You may also consider having laser hair removal. It's pretty painful, so your doctor can give you a topical cream. Whatever you do, good luck!

Try using aloe vera on the area between shaving. Also applying cocoa butter on the area before shaving helps. Just a few ideas that work for me. Another option is to try waxing instead.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
