No, the reincarnation theory is flawed. The very questions you ask are why. For reincarnation to work, we would be coming back in duplicates. What happens when they run out souls to send back ? Do they have a bank somewhere of '' mint '' souls ? Never been in circulation ? Wait, when there aren't any souls they send away to outer space and have them time warped in. Yes, the whole thing is ridiculous.

Reincarnation is possible, If you ever felt like you've been somewhere before but know that in that life time you haven't. As for where did it all begin, I don't believe there is a "god" but I do believe evolution took place many many years ago. Also for when the population grows, I think when two people get together..and well you know that story, you creat a whole new person. So you can be a reincarnation or a creation.

The question of reincarnation is a vary difficult one to address. At first I wasn't going to answer this but when I saw all the crap answers you got I decided I'd give it a shot just to help explain this idea of reincarnation.
Basically there's two forms of existence duality and the absolute. In the absolute all things are one or you can say that everything is the universe or god or whatever you want to call it and nothing at the same time. In duality things are separate and unique there's a sense of distance also a sense of impermanence.
Anyway, In the dual realm babies beget babies and thus you have more babies but perhaps you're confused when you compare the eastern idea of consciousness to the western idea of a unique soul. Consciousness (or awareness) is in the realm of the absolute anything and everything in the realm of duality is conscious and thus babies being made are endowed with consciousness from the moment of their conception. Even the rocks and this computer I'm typing on are conscious because if they weren't then I wouldn't be aware that they exist (see depedent origination.) The only difference is that they do not have sense organs in which to interpret this realm of duality that we exist in so I'd say these objects are not sentient although they are conscious.
So finally how does consciousness get transferred into different states of existance? Simply by the law of cause and effect or karma. consciousness is being transferred from you to me right now.
(I'll have to sum this up because I have to go to class) The self is not conscioussness its self it's merely a part of consciousness or awareness is simply aware of a self. So what I'm saying is that selves are not transferred during a rebirth. What is being reborn is simply an absolute energy being born into the realm of form thus it can split into infinate sources. So just because awareness is found in a perticular being does not mean that that being was the sole recipient of that consciousness.

Hindu scriptures say that there are about 8.5 million species of life on this earth. it also says that this number is constant. 100 years ago there were huge number of animals, birds, creature sand insects all over the world.Man has liquidated many of them lock stock and barrel. There was no other way of survival for these forms except to reincarnate as human beings. That is why now you see more animal like and other creature like human beings.

I believe in reincarnation, however, I believe that reincarnation happens from one world to another. In my belief system, there are an infinite number of realities, some worse, some better. If a person leads a good life in this reality and learns his/her karmic lessons, he/she will be reborn on another plane of existance accordingly. Since there are an infinite number of worlds/planes of existance, there are an infinite number of souls.

yes.I think it's real.I'm a Muslem from Iran.you know that before any religion comes people worshipped idols.so should God punish them? No,he simply let them come into life in a different body.but they have the same soul.so that God can try them if they would obey him or not.this is my personal opinion.but sorry God won't let everyone come back into life.I assure you:you have only one go at it.It's a rare experiencejust like being able to bend spoons with your mind's power.I wonder how many people could do that?only one or two maybe.

Buddhist believe that all things have a soul. Therefore, as the human population expands and kills more plants and animals, new souls are provided. In the end it all balances out. As for the second question, we don't really know, none of the theories so far can be taken as completely true because there are unanswered questions...

Why do you think? New souls are also being created. How did it start? I do not know, but I don't think that a God be necessarily involved. I do think that there may be a God, just my opinion.
FYI, There are several references to reincarnation in that book, the bible. John the Baptist had been Elijah. Oh heaven forbid I would actually use the bible as a reference. LOL

1. The New Age crowd has a million answers to this one: simultaneous incarnation, souls who weren't there in the beginning of the human race waiting to step in, the presence of extraterrestrials on planet Earth...it just goes on.
2. I have no idea.
3. I have no idea, but I would say God.

Eventually, everyone comes back as everyone else :)
Infinity = There is no beginning, or end.
No space or time.
To experience/be/live our senses are limited, we can only live in the teeniest part of the universe at a time.
