Why do people bash islam so much?

Question

It seems most condemn the religion on the pretense that it is a false religion and doctrine. But what about other religions? Some say that islam is the most destructive religion, but yet the british who are either christians and/or of a denomination of that religion are committing terrorist acts all over the world. Look at africa for example. They are colonising that entire continent like how the fore fathers did for america. America is safe, but we fail to aknowledge what is happening all over the rest of the globe. Present party included. We are lead by the media like an angry mob to persuade our opinions on what we know not.

If they broadcasted on our news how in africa, the british are terrorists themselves, how would your opinions be then. And they showed nothing on Iraq. I know the 9/11 thing got a lot of people perturbed, but al quida and islam is not the only religion with terroroists. Don't confuse terrorism with the religion itself. That is like comparing christianity and

Hitler. Let alone the entire british empire.

Debide. The british are colonising it by terroism. They have done it for years and still are. Genocide. They say terrorism is a scare tactic, but a scare tactic for what? To make them embrace a certain doctrine or just to eradicate a group of peoples. They both serve the same purpose with different agendas. Religion or imperialism for a government party.

The wars in islam is not about religion itself. It has more to do with warring tribes that have always warred. For iraq, it is the sunni and shia. In other african nations, they have the same tribes who have been warring for years. I have a good friend from somolia and he told me the whole reason that most can not comprehend. Yes, islam is the religion. But the reason of conflict goes beyond most people's understanding. Even my own. Because he knew what he was talking about and it can not agree with most people's knowledge of what they know not. And it was just a flame that was brought to a blaze by the british.

Because the Bush Family are very good liars! I agree with everything you said, but it's also from lack of exposure. People are afraid of things that aren't familiar. Btw, Muslims didn't have anything to do with 9/11 whatsoever. The Bush Family planned the whole thing, and made it look like Muslims did it. Peace.

If you look around the world you can see the most criticised and the most abused religion is Islam. One way or the other Muslim itself were responsible for this situation. If you look in to the Media about Indonesia, it is always written as the world's largest Muslim nation, but how many of them are really follow the teachings of Islam? Hardly few, the people who represents Islam is either illiterate or ingnorant. If Muslims lived according to the teachings of their Prophet they wont get lost like today. Instead they are interested in fighting each other, so non-muslims probably believe that Islam is a destructive religion.

Understanding the teachings of the Prophets is very important for any religion, if they deviate from his teachings definitely the followers will face severe problems. What Muslims are facing now is because they dont take time to understand their holy books and they forgot to follow the teachings of their Prophet.

Its very comforting that people in the world can see through the media hype and propaganda that is out there today. On both sides the media and propaganda is used by the powers that be to convince the majority that both sides are evil and the enemy.

Since both religions believe in the same god and the old testament and the Quran are almost word for word, it would be something is the same powers that be used the media to show that we are on the same curve if just at different ends.

Save for Hitler, who was simply a mad man, countries protecting their interests cannot ever be compared with members of a religion wreaking havoc and chaos in the name of god. I have been in the Middle east, spent 2.5 years of my life between missions in Saudi, Kuwait and Iraq. The "media" is not lying about much. If you think the atrocities you see on CNN aren't real, I challenge you to prove them wrong. Go over there for yourself and see.

The more aggressive people become against Islam the more they are stupid. Lack of knowledge and taking everything for granted makes me think of Darwin's theory about man come from Apes, for these people are nothing but monkeys who imitate rather than using their mind.

People don't take the time to really learn and understand Islam....They feel there is no reason to learn cuz they think all Muslims are evil and so they condemn us all...when only if they took the time --they would find some wonderful people who live a decent life.....

Poeple do not bash Islam as much as they bash Muslims, and the reason is that many of them support terrorism.
Think about this:
When was the last time you've heard of a Buddhist, a Christian, or someone of Jewish faith blowing themselves up in a train or a bus full of people????
