No, you don't if you're fasting the right way, which is basically like a 1500 or so calorie a day diet, of course with the main difference being that you eat at night. If you're fasting the right way, you should always lose weight, not gain. The average fasting Muslim loses between 5-10 pounds if they fast correctly.

This actually refers to the sole purpose of keeping fast. That is, to control your desires, both bodily and the one relating to the soul. What difference would it make if one eats the same or more amount of food (before keeping and after breaking the fast) on the day he/she fasts?
Infact one can lose weight if they don't dump a lot of food into their stomach at the time of breaking the fast.
People who can't do that, would gain weight.

It does throw your diet off a bit, but only for the short term. Since Ramadan is only 30 days and really the only meal you skip is lunch and any snacking its not hard. If I do gain weight its only a few pounds and at the end of Ramadan my body gets back to normal.

What you assert may be genuine whether it would not take place to the standard public, in basic terms few persons are people who over-eat and a great sort of of them ought to bypass to the ER. We see that throughout newspapers particularly in the 1st days of Ramadan. many people (which includes me) do not eat lots as quickly as we ruin our quickly by way of fact we ought to bypass to the prayer (Taraweeh Prayer) after eating food by using around a million hour & 30 minutes, meaning if we eat lots then we will not have the potential to bypass to prayer. This prayer is in basic terms finished in Ramadan so it extremely is a shame to pass over it. the comparable applies for eating before going to mattress, if we eat lots then we will not have the potential to awaken for the morning prayer that's a ought to, so there you bypass. it is likewise major than each time people eat lots, they don't awaken very clean the subsequent morning. it extremely is favorite to have mild food at night (like yoghurt & vegetables) to have the potential to experience positive day after right this moment.
