Probably the best advice is to become more active in the things that interest you.

If you like reading, hang out at the bookstore more. If you like cooking, take a cooking class (call the instructor and ask if guys sign up for that particular class). If you're somewhat active in your church, join a couple of groups. If you like playing cards, host a mixed singles card game.

I would recommend becoming a Jehovah's Witness, as they have the lowest divorce rates, but I guess any good church, that keeps their young men in line, would work.

One big problem you face is that men are beginning to realize there is a significant shortage of available males in our society. The birth rate of male children began dropping 30 years ago, to where it is down 25%, making it nearly equal to the birth rate of female children. With the much higher death rate for males, it is now becoming a problem filling jobs in all fields mostly worked by men. Imagine the problem it is creating for trying to find the right husband? Future marriages may take on a whole new dynamic.

As a cab driver, I hear how a lot of these young men view dating and marriage. They call me Papa Bear because I will come down on them like a load of bricks when I hear them talking inappropriately about women. I will also tell the young women how to prevent the guys from getting it up.

Good question; someone told me that grocery stores were a great place, but not in my opinion. I've come to the conclusion that there isn't one certain place that would be better than others. It could be anywhere at any time, so put your best foot forward and smile....ALOT, even if it's just from the inside.
