Why doesn't it smell so strongly after eating other vegetables or foods?

I've heard it only happens to some people because of a gene. I don't have it, but my husband does. Nothing to be concerned about.

Asparagus has the presence of methyl mercaptan, also known as methanethiol which your body when proccessed makes your urine smell rotten also only around 60% of people have this issue.

It's the vitamins. Nothing to worry about as long as you drink plenty of water and it doesn't smell like that without high vitamin foods.

Ok its definitely NOT due to a gene..it a diuretic basically.
