" Ishwara '' The Supreme Being /Cosmic Controller as stated in the Vedas thousands of years B.C.
In Sanskrit, the original language of India, 'Sanatana' means Everlasting(Eternal) and 'Dharma', by a crude translation, means Religion(Natural law). The Everlasting Religion (Eternal Natural law),now called Hinduism was founded, exists and flourishes in India.
'Sanatana Dharma' does not have a starting point in history, does not have a founder, and has no Church. The sages who shaped the Hindu religion merely reiterated the teachings of the Vedas, the Hindu scriptures (most of which was unwritten, dscended by word of mouth).
The Vedas are the main scriptural texts of the Sanatana Dharma, and are a large corpus of texts originating in Ancient India. The Vedas, regarded as śruti ("that which is heard"), form part of an oral tradition in the form of an ancient teacher-disciple tradition. Even though many historians have tried to affix dates to the Vedas there is as yet no common consensus as there is for the scriptures of other religions. The Vedas are arguably the oldest surviving texts in the world.

The Scriptural record presents itself as having divine origination, and it includes the name "Jehovah" at the very beginnings of creation.
(Genesis 2:4) This is a history of the heavens and the earth in the time of their being created, in the day that Jehovah God made earth and heaven.
It is true that the Almighty did not say, "Listen, thousands of years from now when a new language called English comes along, they can pronounce my name as 'Jehovah' and that's fine."
Instead, like with any and every personal name, different languages TRANSLATE personal names to fit their lingual tendencies. George becomes "Hor-hey" in Spanish or "Gay-org" in German and no one gets upset.
The Hebrew name “Yahweh” (or “Yehowah”) does seem to accurately pronounce the divine name according the the Hebrew characters (the "Tetragrammaton"). Just as the Hebrew name “Yeshua” (or “Yehoshua”) is translated into “Jesus” in English, the Hebrew name “Yahweh” is translated into “Jehovah” in English.
The important thing is to use God’s personal name in whatever language you speak, rather than insisting upon the impersonal! The name “Yahweh” is certainly preferable to the non-name “God” or “Lord”, especially if you speak Hebrew. If you speak English, feel free to use the name "Jehovah".
(Psalms 83:18) That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth
(John 17:26) [Jesus said] I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them

What does pre Noah, pre Abraham have to do with Jehovah's Name?
Ex 6:3, Says God Almighty,
It's not that they didn't know the name of Jehovah, They didn't know the full extent of what that name would mean "I Shall Prove to Be"
Gen. 4:1 shows Eve knew Jehovah's name.
Depending on your bible it will have "LORD" which is "Jehovah" in english

What up Marine. each little thing in the be attentive to God has a twin which potential to it. you may consistently discover God’s be conscious from the perspective of Enlightenment or you may discover it from the perspective of Redemption. by way of fact God is the two a usual God and a private God. The enlightenment attitude of God’s be conscious is genuine by way of fact that's the Gnosis and usual certainty of God (Elohim) however the different 0.5 of the certainty properly-knownshows God as Salvation. that's the very own edge of the certainty printed in the Son of God Jesus Christ. If you are talking about the Hebrew god, it is my understanding that it is not allowed to speak his name. Most other gods had actual names and so they were called that.
