It depends. There are many different types of hot dogs and sausages. I personally like hot Italian sausages and all beef frankfurters. I also think no one makes them better than the vendors on the street.

i don't eat either of them, but if i had to pick it would be hot dogs just because i never did like sausages

foot long hot dogs with the works(everything possible and that is normally seen on a hot dog)

I prefer a good sausage. Hotdogs have everything in them from eyeballs to peters. You don't know what your eating.

sausage cooks up better on a bbq such as keilbasa.. and it's better.. at least it still fills a bun rather nicely.

and it makes a great stuffing for cornish hens... :D
