Respect in love means that your bf/gf treats you well, does not abuse you in any way shape or form.. , makes you feel special, gives you your personal space and allows you to do your own thing and have your own friends.

I am glad that you could work things out and you are two of the lucky ones. However, cheating for any reason is a lack of respect and love for your spouse. There are many men and women serving over seas right now that risk their lives every day. For the risk they are taking if their wives or husbands don't hold that in high enough regard other than to cheat on them because of being lonely, then that is definitely a lack of respect and love for them. You can whitewash it all that you want to, but cheating is a choice and not forced upon a person. If you choose to cheat you cannot possibly say you had no choice in the matter unless rape is involved.

I respect you enough to not put a move on you you're not ready for yet, have sex with another person, etc.
My last boyfriend didn't respect me at all. He was too sexual. He also cheated on me several times. There's your lack of respect.
My new boyfriend won't do anything unless I want to, so he respects me as a person!
That's my opinion in the matter! :D

in love respect means to trust the other person. it also means that you respect the person's space also. and it really doesn't mean that just because the person is going out with you, the can come up and hit your ***. it means that you might be friends but they want to go farther.

respect means, well at least to me. that you treat that person, with kindness, you don't judge them, you listen to what they have to say, you don't put them down for their thoughts or hobbies, and if your partner is feeling ill, and tells you that, you believe her, and accept it.most of all you are sincere in your relationship

When I think of "Respect", I think of honesty. When you respect someone, your honest with them. You dont pull any punches, and you treat them the way you'd want to be treated regardless............
