hi i install windows xp in my system ..but unfortunatly it is not original copy..i contact that vendor and now i got a original product key....now without reinstall the windows xp , i want to change the product key? is it possible and if yes how?

It can be done if you are expert enough to use Regedit. I would recommend you uninstall Windows. Boot up with the Windows install disk and reinstall using the proper product key.

If it's not an original copy of XP, it doesn't make any difference if you've got an "original" key....Microsoft will still be able to determine your copy is illegal and will close down your computer eventually.

You will be vulnerable to security attacks as well, as you will probably be unable to get any updates.
